Job summary

Southern Regional Medical Center in Riverdale, GA is seeking a Hospital Maintenance Painter (Facilities Painter) to keep patient areas clean, safe and welcoming. You will paint walls, repair surfaces, and prepare surfaces following infection-control standards, with a 7am30pm schedule.

The role requires basic trades, ability to read schematics/blueprints, a high school diploma, and a valid driver's license. Healthcare setting experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Able to troubleshoot, read schematics, and/or blue prints.
• Valid current state driver license.
• Minimum 0-1 years healthcare experience preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, patch, sand, prime, and paint walls, ceilings, doors, trim, and other surfaces.
• Perform drywall repairs, touch-ups, and routine cosmetic maintenance throughout the facility.
• Match paint colors and finish to maintain a consistent, professional appearance.
• Follow hospital safety, infection-prevention, and work-area cleanliness requirements.
• Work collaboratively with the Facilities team while minimizing disruption to patients and hospital operations.
