Westchester Medical Center Health Network is seeking a skilled Painter to maintain the cosmetic appearance of hospital facilities and equipment. The role requires adherence to all safety and building codes and entails painting, plastering, wallpapering, and related repairs across hospital properties.

The successful candidate will prepare surfaces, estimate materials, and ensure safe handling of paints and finishes while maintaining clean, orderly work areas.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in painting, sheetrock, plastering and wallpapering.
• Graduation from high school or equivalent.
• Valid NYS driver's license.

Responsabilités

• Performs skilled painting, plastering, wallpapering and related repairs.
• Prepares surfaces and materials, ensuring safe handling and proper finishing.
• Estimates costs and materials; maintains stock for emergencies.
• Responds to hospital emergencies and works flexible hours as needed.
