Job summary

The role involves painting interior/exterior surfaces, wall coverings, staining, and general maintenance in a hospital setting, ensuring surfaces are properly prepared and finished to high standards.

Qualifications include 2+ years painting experience (preferably in hospitals) and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age with education/experience per job description.
• 2+ years painting experience; hospital setting preferred.
• Vocational or technical training as a Journeyman Painter encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting.
• Dry wall taping and patching of sheetrock or plaster repair.
• Sand and protect surfaces from dust and debris.
• Paint, repair and maintain surfaces and equipment.
• Apply wall finishes to various surfaces to ensure uniform texture.
• Stain doors and millwork for final finish without drips.
