Job summary

Dallas Medical Center, LLC is seeking a Director of Facilities Operations to oversee the physical plant, engineering, grounds, EVS, security, and safety. The role drives construction/remodeling projects and coordinates with external vendors to maintain hospital infrastructure.

Responsibilities include leading multiple facilities departments, ensuring compliance with hospital codes, and maintaining a professional image of the hospital to patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hospital experience in Plant Operations preferred.
• Knowledge of hospital codes and facility buildings, equipment, and utilities.
• Experience supervising EVS, Security, Grounds, Biomed, and related departments.
• Valid state driver's license and high school diploma or equivalent.
• College degree in Engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs and administers all work related to the physical plant and ancillary systems.
• Manages construction/remodeling projects per leadership direction.
• Acts as liaison between Medical Center and contracted facilities vendors.
• Represents the hospital positively to patients, visitors, physicians, and the public.
