Job summary

Prime Healthcare, Dallas Medical Center in Dallas, TX, is seeking a Facilities Director for a full-time, days shift role. You will direct the physical plant, engineering, EVS, security and safety programs to ensure reliable operations and regulatory compliance.

You will manage construction and remodeling projects, supervise facilities teams, and act as liaison with vendors and contractors while presenting a professional image of the hospital.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing hospital plant operations and related departments.
• HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boilers, hazardous materials knowledge.
• Knowledge of hospital codes and safety regulations.
• Minimum 3 years hospital experience in Plant Operations preferred.
• Valid state driver''s license; engineering degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs all work on the physical plant and ancillary systems (Engineering, Grounds, EVS, Security, Safety).
• Manages construction/remodeling projects as directed by leadership.
• Acts as liaison between the Medical Center and contracted facilities personnel.
• Presents a positive image of the hospital to patients, visitors, physicians and the public.
