Job summary

The Facilities Services team at Trinity Health seeks a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to perform a wide range of trades in a hospital environment. Responsibilities include plumbing, HVAC, electrical work, and system diagnostics to ensure continuous operations.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in related trades, strong reading of blueprints and experience with building management and nurse call systems. A NYS driver’s license is required and shifts may include weekends or holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a millwright, steamfitter, plumber, HVAC or tradesman in commercial/healthcare setting.
• Clean valid NYS driver's license required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency response to hospital mechanical systems as required.
• Perform general plumbing, HVAC and electrical maintenance.
• Complete preventive maintenance and repairs on utility systems.
• Support construction/renovation project installations as assigned.
• Maintain and operate power tools and reading blueprints.
