Job summary

Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to perform routine and skilled maintenance across the hospital and related facilities, troubleshoot issues, and ensure building systems operate safely.

You will work with Plant Operations to respond to work orders and support HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general upkeep while protecting patient care and reliability, including participation in after-hours on-call as trained.

Qualifications

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
Hands-on experience in electrical, HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, or building trades.
Ability to read equipment instructions and diagrams.
Willingness to participate in after-hours on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

Perform routine and skilled maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance across the hospital and related facilities.
Respond to work orders involving electrical, HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, and general building tasks.
Troubleshoot facility issues to identify causes and implement corrective actions.
Perform electrical maintenance including lighting, switches, and related components.
Maintain HVAC and mechanical equipment components such as belts, pumps, and motors.
Complete general building repairs including doors, drywall, painting, and carpentry.
Document completed work orders and inspections in the maintenance system.
Support on-call rotation and emergency response as required.
