Job summary

Dignity Health Rehabilitation Hospital in Henderson, NV is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for a per diem role. You will perform general mechanical maintenance, inspections and repairs on the facility’s plant equipment, including HVAC, electrical and water systems, to ensure safe, reliable operations.

You will work under the Director of Plant Operations and contribute to a safe environment for patients and staff by maintaining equipment and adhering to safety policies.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive knowledge of maintenance, repair, and safety procedures required.
• Current and valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general mechanical and preventive maintenance on equipment and systems.
• Inspect, service, repair and overhaul plant equipment as directed to ensure reliability.
• Monitor refrigeration, HVAC, electrical, and water systems; record readings and address issues.
• Follow safety policies and comply with hazardous materials handling procedures.
