Job summary

Skillforce in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Hospital Facilities Manager to lead energy management and CEP operations. This full-time, direct-hire role involves mentoring staff, coordinating EPC/OMC activities, and ensuring reliable plant performance across facilities.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in central plant or facilities management, strong knowledge of building codes, and a mechanical engineering degree (ABET-accredited) with PE preferred. Travel up to 15% is required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience in managing multiple sites or asset managers
• Central plant/facility management experience
• Mechanical construction with large subcontractor or MEP design experience
• Hospital setting experience in last 3 years preferred
• Proficient in building codes and related standards
• Effective written and verbal communication

Responsibilities

• Perform daily reviews of energy usage to guide improvements
• Provide guidance to owner on energy strategies
• Oversee CEP operation and maintenance including subcontractors and service providers
• Oversee Maintenance Reserve Accounts for the Central Energy Plant
• Collaborate with operators for efficient plant operation
• Provide training for Plant Operators
• Create/update Plant Operating Manual
• Coordinate EPC with OMC operations
• Organize on-site troubleshooting with remote support team
• Oversee one or more Asset Manager teams
