Beloit Health System is looking to add a General Maintenance II to our Engineering Team. This full-time role is on the 1st shift, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, 40 hours per week, within the Engineering department.

Responsibilities include maintenance of plumbing, HVAC, electrical systems, and coordination with vendors, ensuring high reliability of facilities, safety, and compliance with applicable codes and accrediting bodies.

Formación

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Three years' verifiable experience in mechanics, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance.
• Valid state driver's license and DOT licensure.
• Must adhere to department policies, procedures and competencies as well as Health System policies.

Responsabilidades

• Repair, maintain, and install faucet, toilet, sink and shower outlets.
• Work outdoors to clean and maintain grounds and trash removal while maintaining safety from slips, trips, and falls at all properties.
• Organize and prioritize multiple demands while maintaining a work order completion rate and closure in the TMS corrective maintenance and preventative maintenance work order system
• Maintain, troubleshoot, test and repair HVAC equipment including air handling units and ductwork.
• Install and maintain heating/cooling, filtration, water equipment including coils, radiators, water softeners, water heaters and circulating pumps.
• Perform electrical system inspection, testing and maintenance activities and document results for regulatory compliance.
• Troubleshoot and repair kitchen equipment, ice and water equipment, and refrigeration equipment.
• Plan, create and place orders for spare parts and maintain inventory.
• Demonstrate knowledge of accreditation processes and regulatory surveys; ensure compliance with CMS, OSHA and other agencies.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors to ensure testing and maintenance documentation is accurate and timely.
