Job summary

University Hospital is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Manager to oversee the operation and maintenance of all facilities, drive reliability, and manage preventive and corrective programs. The role ensures safe, compliant plant operations and coordinates with trades staff to optimize asset performance and lifecycle costs.

You will develop budgets, prepare maintenance specifications, and lead on-call coverage, while aligning with corporate compliance and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Engineering and 3+ years in facilities management.
• At least 2 years of managerial/supervisory experience.
• Extensive HVAC experience.
• Experience in unionized environments desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead site maintenance team and manage preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Ensure safe, environmentally compliant operations.
• Develop budgets for maintenance and construction.
• Coordinate contract bidding and RFPs for services.
• Provide on-call coverage and emergency directives.
