Job summary

Saint Mary's Hospital, part of Trinity Health Of New England, is seeking a skilled carpenter to support facility construction, renovation, and repair across the hospital complex. The role emphasizes safe operation of shop machinery and precise workmanship for a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities include installing drywall, flooring, doors, and trim, plus repairing windows and fixtures. Applicants should have at least 5 years of carpentry experience and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of carpentry experience is required.
• Healthcare facility setting experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Repairs and constructs partitions, countertops, doors, windows, furniture, building framework (metal or wood).
• Installs, tapes, and finishes drywall; installs wood trim and molding as needed.
• Installs and repairs flooring (carpet, vinyl, ceramic, sheet vinyl).
• Replaces and installs glass windows, ceiling tiles, and related hardware; maintains keying systems.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
