Job summary

Great River Health is seeking a dedicated housekeeping worker to maintain a clean environment across patient rooms, public areas, lounges, restrooms, and offices. Duties include cleaning, restocking supplies, and adhering to safety protocols in a healthcare setting.

The role requires a HS Diploma or GED, good English reading/writing, and reliable time management. Shift runs 7:30am–4:00pm with no weekends; competitive pay and benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Strong reading and writing in English.
• Able to manage time effectively and meet safety standards.
• Knowledge of chemical safety and handling cleaners.
• Ability to bend, stretch, reach and lift as needed.

Responsibilities

• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Vacuum and mop floors and clean rooms.
• Clean windows and mirrors.
• Dust furniture and equipment.
• Follow chemical safety procedures.
• Empty trash and recycling.
• Clean restrooms and service areas.
• Extract or shampoo carpets.
• Prepare patient rooms and maintain area cleanliness.
