Job summary

Great River Health in Mt. Pleasant, IA seeks an EVS Technician for the 1st shift. You will perform routine cleaning to maintain patient rooms, public areas, and restrooms, ensuring a clean hospital environment. Duties include beds, linens, trash removal, and floor care, with weekend/holiday rotations.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in housekeeping or cleaning preferred.
• Strong English reading/writing skills and grammar.

Responsibilities

• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Vacuum, mop, dust, and sanitize floors and surfaces.
• Clean restrooms and restock supplies.
• Empty trash, manage recycling, and support patient rooms and public areas.
• Follow safety procedures when handling chemicals and equipment.
