Job summary

Washington Regional is seeking an EVS Tech I for the night shift (10:00pm-6:30am) to clean and disinfect patient and non-patient areas, supporting a safe, sanitary healing environment. You will follow policies, stock supplies, and respond quickly to spills or requests, always maintaining courtesy with patients, visitors, and staff.

Requires a high school diploma or GED; hospital housekeeping experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Experience with hospital cleaning and patient areas is preferred.
• Familiarity with infection prevention practices and PPE usage is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Follow department policies for safe cleaning and chemical use.
• Stock and maintain supply carts and disposables.
• Clean and disinfect patient rooms, offices, restrooms, corridors, and equipment.
• Perform terminal and isolation room cleaning as assigned.
• Respond to spills and requests, maintain safety signage.
• Provide courteous service while protecting patient privacy.
