Community Memorial Hospital is seeking an Environmental Services Technician to maintain a safe, hygienic healthcare setting. You will disinfect clinical and common areas, support patient experience, and contribute to infection prevention through proper PPE and isolation practices.

You will perform daily cleaning tasks, manage waste streams in compliance with safety standards, and collaborate with the care team to coordinate work and mentor junior staff.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous healthcare experience preferred.
• Ability to lift, bend, and perform heavy work as part of routine cleaning and waste handling.
• Knowledge of infection prevention and PPE procedures is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Perform daily cleaning and disinfection of patient care areas and common spaces.
• Ensure timely room turnovers to support patient throughput.
• Handle, transport, and dispose of regulated medical, hazardous, and solid waste per regulations.
• Operate EVS equipment and manage cleaning carts and supplies per standard work procedures.
