The EVS Technician will handle indoor environments, including waste and bio-waste management, and assist with routine cleaning and sanitation as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years’ experience preferred in similar field.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a team setting or independently.
• Prioritization and time management skills and adequate communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Cleans assigned areas to meet infection control and compliance standards and assists team members in completion of tasks.
• Creates daily job lists and records all serviced rooms; reports any shortages, damages, or security issues.
• Maintains equipment in good condition.
• Handles reasonable guests’ complaints/requests and informs others when required, and fosters an environment that exemplifies the Hospital’s Mission, Vision, and C.A.R.E values.
• Complies with health and safety regulations and abides with company and department policies and licensing laws.
