Job summary

Intermountain Health Riverton Hospital is seeking a dedicated housekeeping professional to perform general cleaning tasks across the facility, maintaining sanitary, safe, and attractive conditions in accordance with Joint Commission standards. This full-time role requires meticulous attention to cleaning procedures, proper use of chemicals, PPE and infection prevention practices.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated communication skills to include differentiating color-coded labels and/or chemicals as well as following written and/or verbal directions.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule when needed to meet the needs of the department.
• Demonstrated professional housekeeping experience. (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect assigned areas following procedures.
• Use cleaning chemicals per Joint Commission and OSHA standards.
• Dispose of infectious waste and trash per guidelines.
• Handle emergency spills per guidelines and safety standards.
• Follow infection prevention practices including PPE.
• Maintain safe work and storage areas.
