Job summary

Intermountain Health Riverton Hospital in Utah is seeking a Custodian/Housekeeper to perform general housekeeping to meet hospital and Joint Commission standards. The role is PRN, on call or as needed, with shifts 7am-3:30pm and 2pm-10:30pm and hourly pay ranging $17.68-$22.99 based on experience.

Responsibilities include cleaning and disinfecting areas, proper handling of chemicals, and safety compliance; the candidate should be able to work independently and maintain infection prevention

Qualifications

• One or more year of experience in cleaning or custodial work (preferred).
• Demonstrated communication skills and ability to follow written/verbal directions.
• Ability to work flexible schedules as needed by the department.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect assigned areas following department procedures.
• Use cleaning chemicals per Joint Commission and OSHA standards.
• Dispose of infectious waste and trash properly.
• Handle emergency spills per guidelines and ensure safety procedures.
