Job summary

Intermountain Health Riverton Hospital is seeking a dedicated housekeeping team member to perform general cleaning to meet hospital and Joint Commission standards. The role requires shift coverage from 6:30am to 3:00pm and a full-time schedule at 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

Demonstrated communication skills to differentiate color-coded labels and/or chemicals and to follow written and verbal directions.
Ability to work a flexible schedule when needed to meet department needs.
Demonstrated professional housekeeping experience (Preferred).

Responsibilities

Clean and disinfect assigned areas using department cleaning procedures.
Use cleaning chemicals properly according to Joint Commission and OSHA standards.
Dispose of infectious waste and trash following proper procedures.
Handle and clean up emergency spills per guidelines and standards.
Follow infection prevention practices including PPE procedures.
Maintain work and storage areas following safety policies.
