Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years EVS experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Healthcare setting experience preferred.
• T-CHEST or CHEST Certification required through AHE.
• One of CSCT or CNACC certifications preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervise EVS resources and staffing; hire, promote and review staff performance.
• Oversee waste management per regulations; ensure disposal compliance.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and report results to Manager.
• Maintain orderly EVS closets and daily cleanliness checks.
• Schedule adjustments to cover absences and peak periods.
• Monitor inventories, usage data, and reorder supplies.
• Coordinate with EVS manager on equipment repairs and safety.
• Supervise subcontractors and EVS suppliers as needed.
• Ensure adherence to safety, infection control and risk management standards.
