Qualifications

• Must read and understand material safety data sheets and mixing instructions for cleaning chemicals
• Able to communicate effectively with staff and patients

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning of patient rooms and assigned areas, dusting, mopping, disinfecting, vacuuming, and polishing
• Empty hampers, transport soiled linen, manage trash and medical waste containers
• Restock supplies such as toilet paper, towels, and soap in all assigned areas
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and log usage; report repairs as needed
• Possibly perform special projects like windows and wall washing
• Respond to questions from patients, staff, and visitors; aim for high customer service satisfaction
