Job summary

Banner Health in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Housekeeping/EVS Associate to support a fast-paced hospital environment. You will clean patient rooms and facility areas, push cleaning carts, and handle chemicals safely. A background check and drug screen are required; annual flu vaccination is mandatory.

Shifts are full-time (40 hours) with day hours 7am–3:30pm and weekend/holiday rotations. A $1/hour weekend differential and an 18% night differential when applicable apply where offered.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to interpret and respond to verbal and written instructions.
• Able to read material safety data sheets and cleaning chemical instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning tasks in patient rooms and assigned areas according to policy.
• Empties hampers, trash, and medical waste as required.
• Restock supplies such as toilet tissue, paper towels, and soap.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and log usage.
• Perform special projects like windows or wall washing as needed.
• Respond to questions from patients, staff, and visitors and meet customer service goals.
• Work at an assigned facility with internal and external customers.
