Job summary

Banner Health in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Housekeeping/Environmental Services Team Associate within the Environmental Services department. Fast-paced team with a strong emphasis on cleanliness, safety, and patient experience.

As a per diem EVS team member, you will work 5 days a week with 8-hour evening shifts (Wednesday-Sunday, 5pm-1:30am). The role offers shift differentials and the chance to join a respected, Great Place To Work-certified employer.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills by phone and in person.
• Ability to read and interpret material safety data sheets (MSDS) and chemical instructions.
• Ability to fill out chemical identification stickers.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning tasks: dusting, mopping, disinfecting, vacuuming, and polishing.
• Handle waste, linen, and trash; manage supplies restocking.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and report repairs.
• Possibly perform windows or wall washing and other special projects.
• Support patient comfort and safety through infection control and sanitation.
