Job summary

Banner Health is seeking an EVS Associate in Mesa, AZ to perform cleaning of patient rooms and assigned areas, contributing to a safe, sterile, and comforting environment and supporting infection control procedures.

As part of Environmental Services, you will dust, mop, disinfect, vacuum, and restock supplies while collaborating with healthcare teams. Schedule varies (12p-8:30p, 11p-7:30a, 8p-4:30a), 40 hours, weekends/holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• Performs routine cleaning tasks in patient rooms and common areas.
• Must be able to interpret verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, visitors and staff.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of cleaning tasks (dusting, mopping, disinfecting, vacuuming, polishing).
• Empties hampers, collects trash and disposes of medical waste as needed.
• Restocks supplies and ensures equipment is maintained and logged.
• Responds to requests and provides courteous customer service.
