• Collects, removes, and disposes of waste following hospital policies and regulatory guidelines
• Handles soiled linens and replaces with clean bags, ensuring proper containment and storage
• Cleans and sanitizes patient rooms, restrooms, hallways, offices, and common areas in accordance with infection control standards
• Responds to spills and contamination cleanups with proper disinfection and safety precautions
• Moves furniture and equipment as needed for cleaning or departmental relocations
• Communicates maintenance and repair needs to supervisor or facilities department for timely resolution
• Maintains accurate cleaning logs and documents completed tasks
