Qualifications

• Ability to handle biohazardous/infectious waste safely.
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment maintenance and usage.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning schedules.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Performs floor care: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, waxing, shampooing.
• Collects, disposes of waste including biohazardous materials per policy.
• Handles soiled linens and replaces with clean bags.
• Cleans and sanitizes patient rooms, restrooms, halls, offices, and common areas.
• Responds to spills and conducts disinfection per standards.
• Moves furniture and equipment for cleaning or relocation.
• Monitors supply usage and stores supplies safely.
• Reports maintenance and repair needs to supervisor promptly.
• Maintains cleaning logs and documents completed tasks.
• Performs other duties and maintains reliable attendance.
• Complies with all policies and safety standards.
