Responsibilities

• Perform floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, waxing, and shampooing surfaces.
• Collect and dispose of waste, including biohazardous materials, per policy and regulations.
• Handle soiled linens and replace with clean bags in proper containment.
• Clean and sanitize patient rooms, restrooms, hallways, offices, and common areas.
• Respond to spills and perform contamination cleanup with proper disinfection.
• Move equipment and furniture as needed for cleaning and maintenance.
• Monitor supply usage and store supplies safely.
• Report maintenance or repair needs to supervisor.
