Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs advanced floor care such as stripping, waxing, buffing, and deep-cleaning carpets.
• Manages hazardous, infectious, and noninfectious waste per OSHA, EPA and hospital policies.
• Performs terminal cleaning and disinfection in high-risk areas (ORs, ICUs).
• Trains and mentors new Environmental Services staff on cleaning methods and safety.
• Participates in special projects: construction cleanup and emergency cleaning efforts.
• Moves and positions furniture and medical equipment to support operations.
• Monitors supplies and reports shortages to minimize waste.
• Identifies maintenance and safety concerns and reports them for prompt action.
• Maintains regular attendance and complies with policies.
