Qualifications

• 1-3 years of environmental services, housekeeping, custodial work, or hospital facility maintenance required

Responsibilities

• Performs floor care tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, waxing, and shampooing to maintain cleanliness and safety.
• Collects and disposes of waste following hospital policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Handles soiled linens, replacing them with clean bags and proper containment.
• Cleans and sanitizes patient rooms, restrooms, hallways, offices, and common areas per infection control standards.
• Responds to spills and contamination cleanups with proper disinfection and safety precautions.
• Moves furniture, floor mats, and other equipment as needed for cleaning or relocation.
• Monitors cleaning supply usage and stores supplies safely.
• Communicates maintenance and repair needs to supervisor or facilities department.
• Maintains accurate cleaning logs and reports completed tasks.
• Performs other duties as assigned and maintains regular attendance.
• Complies with all policies and standards.
