Responsibilities

Perform floor care tasks (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, waxing, shampooing).
Collect and dispose of waste per hospital policies.
Handle soiled linens; replace with clean bags.
Clean and sanitize patient rooms, restrooms, hallways, offices and common areas.
Respond to spills with proper disinfection and safety precautions.
Move furniture and equipment as needed for cleaning or relocation.
Monitor supply usage and store supplies safely.
Report maintenance needs to supervisor or facilities.
