Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
• Familiarity with infection control standards and hospital safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Performs floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, waxing, and shampooing.
• Collects, removes, and disposes of waste following hospital policies and guidelines.
• Handles soiled linens and ensures clean storage and containment.
• Cleans and sanitizes patient rooms, restrooms, hallways, and common areas.
• Responds to spills and performs proper disinfection and safety precautions.
• Moves furniture and equipment as needed for cleaning and maintenance.
• Monitors supply usage and maintains safe storage of materials.
• Communicates maintenance needs to supervisor for timely resolution.
• Maintains cleaning logs and documents completed tasks.
