Allegheny Health Network is seeking a dedicated environmental services technician to maintain cleanliness in patient rooms, offices and departments. You will follow established cleaning procedures, handle waste and supplies, and ensure storage areas are orderly while adhering to safety and infection control guidelines.

The role requires the ability to read and follow written and oral instructions, basic communication skills, and the capacity to operate power equipment.

Qualifikationen

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Basic reading, writing and effective communication skills.
• Ability to operate power equipment.
• FIT testing may be required, but provided upon hire as needed.

Aufgaben

• Follow proper cleaning procedures in all assigned areas.
• Perform trash/soiled linen pick-up and stocking supplies.
• Return equipment after cleaning and maintain storage areas.
• Adhere to safety, infection control policies and performance standards.
• Comply with OSHA, PPE, waste handling and emergency codes.
• Other duties as assigned.
