Job summary

Hill Crest Behavioral Health in Birmingham, AL is seeking an Environmental Services / House Keeper to perform cleaning and laundry tasks in a medical facility. You will follow established routines under the Environmental Service Manager and Plant Operations Director, with emphasis on patient care environment and safety.

Must have availability for an 8-day orientation 8a-4p, prior EVS experience in a medical setting, and pass background check and drug screen.

Qualifications

• Must have availability to attend an 8-business day Orientation from 8a-4p without interruptions.
• Prior EVS experience in a medical setting/environment is required on resume.
• Background check & Drug Screen

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and laundry tasks per established routines.
• Maintain facility and equipment under supervision of the Environmental Service Manager and Plant Operations Director.
• Contribute to an excellent total facility appearance and safety.
• Follow safety procedures while performing all tasks.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as floor machines, auto scrubbers, vacuums and related tools.
