Job summary

Southeast Health in Southeast Alabama is seeking a Night Shift Environmental Services Associate to perform general daily cleaning and supply tasks in patient rooms, nursing stations, lounges, bathrooms and offices, ensuring a clean, safe environment in line with hospital procedures. Duties include vacuuming, mopping, bed making, and stocking supplies; strong written and verbal communication is required.

A high school diploma or GED is preferred, and prior housekeeping experience is valued.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred
• Housekeeping or related field experience preferred
• Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing

Responsibilities

• Perform general daily cleaning and supplying patient rooms, nursing stations, lounges, bathrooms, offices
• Daily cleaning of floors in corridors and other assigned areas
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain an environmentally safe and clean atmosphere in accordance with department procedures
