Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs floor care such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, waxing, and shampooing to maintain cleanliness and safety.
• Collects, removes, and disposes of waste including biohazardous materials per policy and guidelines.
• Handles soiled linens, replaces with clean bags, and ensures proper containment and storage.
• Cleans and sanitizes patient rooms, restrooms, hallways, offices and common areas in line with infection control standards.
• Responds to spills and contamination cleanups with proper disinfection and safety measures.
• Moves furniture and equipment as needed for cleaning or department relocations.
• Monitors supply usage and ensures safe storage and expense control.
• Communicates maintenance needs to supervisors for timely resolution.
• Maintains cleaning logs and documents completed tasks.
• Performs other duties as assigned and maintains reliable attendance.
• Complies with all hospital policies and standards.
