Job summary

Orlando Health Horizon West Hospital is seeking an Environmental Services Technician II to maintain a safe, clean, healing environment. You will clean patient rooms, discharge areas, and common spaces while following infection prevention guidelines and safety procedures.

The role requires healthcare support experience and a high school diploma or GED, with opportunities to participate in department initiatives and contribute to patient experience and facility cleanliness.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Two years of experience in healthcare support services, EVS, hospitality, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and disinfects patient rooms and ancillary areas.
• Operates cleaning equipment and UV disinfection devices per policy.
• Maintains sanitation, safety and infection prevention standards.
• Assists in onboarding new EVS staff as requested.
• Ensures timely room turnaround and patient throughput support.
