Job summary

Advocate Health is hiring for a full-time cleaning/janitorial role in Oshkosh, WI. Primary hours are Mon–Fri, 9:00 am–6:00 pm, with a 40-hour work week. Pay range is $19.80–$29.70 per hour and benefits are eligible.

Responsibilities include cleaning patient areas, offices, and public spaces; operating various cleaning machines; maintaining floors; and handling waste following infection control guidelines.

Qualifications

• No formal education required.
• No prior experience required.
• Must be able to operate cleaning equipment and follow oral/written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Clean rooms, hallways, and offices using power equipment.
• Maintain floors with dry/wet mops and refinishing as needed.
• Set up rooms for meetings and deliver audio-visual equipment.
• Clean patient care areas, restrooms, lobbies, and common spaces.
• Dispose of waste and recyclables according to infection control guidelines.
• Report equipment failures or unsafe conditions to supervisor.
