Responsibilities

• Clean patient care and public areas, restrooms, offices, and corridors.
• Clean all surfaces including ceilings, walls, furniture, and equipment.
• Dust and mop floors in patient areas, corridors and restrooms.
• Replace cubicle/window coverings and handle linens visually.
• Gather, dispose of trash and medical waste per infection-control rules.
• Stock and deliver linens; prepare soiled linen for transport.
• Prepare dismissal/transfer units and distribute non-medical supplies.
• Fill and clean supply dispensers and keep closets organized.
• Inventory supplies and order replacements cost-effectively.
• Report mechanical or safety issues to supervisor.
