Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a part-time Environmental Services Technician in Oak Lawn, IL. The role covers days, evenings or nights with rotating weekends, 25 hours per week, and benefits eligibility.

You will clean patient rooms, offices and restrooms, using established procedures and safety standards to ensure a sanitary hospital environment. Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect assigned areas using department procedures.
• Maintain clean areas in patient rooms, offices, rest rooms, and common spaces.
• Operate cleaning equipment following safety guidelines.
• Handle chemicals per policy and keep areas orderly and safe.
• Support patient families and staff with a courteous, respectful attitude.
• Follow infection control policies and universal precautions.
