Job summary

Compass Group USA, through TouchPoint, seeks an Environmental Services Manager for a hospital setting on the 2nd shift. The role directs the department's operations, coordinates tasks among staff, and partners with administration to maintain service quality.

The position requires frequent facility rounds and standing for most of the shift, with a walking miles daily expectation. The ideal candidate has supervisory experience, strong communication, budgeting awareness, and proficiency with MS

Qualifications

• Physical requirements: walking 5+ miles daily.
• Experience in support services, housekeeping, or facilities maintenance.
• 1+ years of supervisory/management experience.
• Strong work ethic, drive and initiative for quality and customer service.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills in one-on-one and group settings.
• Participative approach to staff management.
• Understanding budgeting processes and P&L awareness.
• Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
• Ability to function under stressful conditions.
• CRCST or related sterile processing certification preferred.
• MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet).
• Associate’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee the hospital environmental services department operations.
• Coordinate tasks of department associates and assist in training and development.
• Serve as liaison between administration and unit departments and ensure service quality.
• Perform frequent rounds throughout the facility and stay on feet during shifts.
