Qualifications

• Ability to work well under time constraints and to work effectively as a team member.
• Greet patients, visitors and staff courteously while performing housekeeping tasks.
• Demonstrates competency in patient and workplace safety as it relates to job duties.

Responsibilities

• Assembles necessary cleaning supplies and transports them to work areas.
• Cleans assigned areas using a variety of housekeeping duties (cleaning, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, washing, polishing).
• Prepares cleaning solutions per written label instructions.
• Performs routine discharge room cleaning and remakes beds with fresh linen.
• Notifies team leader of needed maintenance repairs.
• Cleans and stores equipment regularly.
• Logs on and off Interserv per GBMC policy and logs tasks accordingly.
