Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assembles necessary cleaning supplies and equipment; loads utility cart and transports to area after receiving instructions.
• Cleans assigned areas by performing cleaning duties (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, washing, polishing).
• Prepares cleaning solutions according to written instructions on labels.
• Performs routine discharge room cleaning within established guidelines, including changing linens.
• Notifies team leader of needed maintenance repairs.
• Cleans and stores equipment in porter closet or storage area.
• Logs tasks on Interserv per GBMC policy.
