Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Hospital Housekeeper at Newton-Wellesley Hospital to perform routine cleaning across patient rooms, bathrooms, and corridors, ensuring a safe, disinfected environment that supports patient care and comfort.

You will restock supplies, damp wipe surfaces, manage waste, move furniture as needed, and follow safety guidelines, delivering courteous service to patients, visitors, and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred or equivalent experience.
• Sufficient physical strength and stamina.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Clean patient rooms after discharge and sanitize bathrooms.
• Restock supplies and damp wipe surfaces; manage waste.
• Move furniture as needed and mop floors; follow safety guidelines.
• May assist in moving heavy office furniture and support infection control practices.
