Job summary

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent (experience 0–1 year preferred) and is 40 hours per week, on-site with a day shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• 0–1 year related cleaning experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling.
• Knowledge of cleaning tools such as vacuum cleaners and floor buffers.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning duties according to schedules and infection control guidelines.
• Completes waste stream removal.
• Cleans and services assigned areas per procedures.
• Moves furniture, equipment, and supplies within departments to maintain a sanitary environment.
• Operates floor machines and buffers.
• Participates in unit/department meetings (minimum eight annually).
• Maintains clean, safe, and sanitary patient and non-patient areas at all times.
