Job summary

Mass General Brigham's Newton-Wellesley Hospital seeks a dedicated environmental services teammate to thoroughly clean and sanitize areas, dispose of hazardous waste, and sterilize equipment to prevent disease spread.

Responsibilities include following infection control guidelines, moving furniture as needed, operating floor machines, and maintaining safe, sanitary patient and non-patient spaces while attending regular departmental meetings.

Qualifications

• High school education required (some high school completed).
• Experience in lieu of degree not accepted.
• 0-1 year related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning duties per schedules and infection control guidelines.
• Completes waste stream removal.
• Clean and service assigned areas according to procedures.
• Move furniture, equipment, and supplies within hospital areas.
• Operates floor machines and buffers.
• Attends at least eight unit/department meetings annually.
• Maintain clean, safe and sanitary patient and non-patient areas.
