Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? Yes
• Experience: Related experience 0-1 year preferred
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and how to apply chemicals safely.
• Working knowledge of cleaning tools like vacuum cleaners and floor buffers.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning duties in alignment with schedules and infection control guidelines.
• Completes waste stream removal.
• Clean and service assigned areas per procedures.
• Move furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed to maintain a neat, sanitary facility.
• Operates assigned equipment, such as floor machines and buffers.
• Participates in a minimum of eight unit/department meetings annually.
• Maintain assigned patient and non-patient areas in a clean, safe condition.
