Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Central Massachusetts is seeking an Environmental Services team member to maintain clean, safe facilities. Under the supervision of the Environmental Services Supervisor, you will perform cleaning of offices and department areas, trash removal, high dusting, damp wiping, mopping, vacuuming and bathroom cleaning.

Qualifications

• Previous environmental services experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleans assigned rooms and areas to ensure a clean, safe environment.
• Cleans and burns floors to maintain an attractive appearance.
• Assists with project work as assigned.
• Completes assigned schedule of duties efficiently.
• Projects a positive service attitude while on duty and responds promptly to requests.
• Interacts with others in a cooperative manner and works harmoniously with staff.
• Operates equipment and chemicals safely according to procedures.
• Maintains professional image through grooming, appearance and conduct.
• Reports to begin work at scheduled start times, punching in and out.
