Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a part-time Houseworker to perform environmental cleaning in Webster, MA. The role operates on-site with a day shift from 6:30 AM to 3 PM, Monday through Friday and every other weekend, totaling 24 hours per week.

A $1,000 sign-on bonus may be available, contingent on recruitment review. Under the Environmental Services Supervisor, you’ll clean offices and department areas, handle trash, dust, mopping, and bathroom cleaning, and support special projects as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in environmental services preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Cleans assigned rooms and areas to ensure a clean, safe environment.
• Cleans and burnishes floors to maintain an attractive appearance.
• Assists with project work as assigned.
• Completes scheduled duties efficiently within allotted time.
• Maintains a positive service attitude and responds promptly to requests.
• Interacts cooperatively with staff and coworkers.
• Operates equipment and chemicals safely according to procedures.
• Maintains professional appearance and conduct at all times.
• Reports for scheduled start times and tracks time appropriately.
