Job summary

GBMC HealthCare is seeking an Environmental Service Associate to maintain clean and safe hospital spaces in Towson. You will assemble supplies, clean areas, and assist with patient discharge room tasks while adhering to safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Ability to work under time constraints.
• Ability to greet patients, visitors and staff politely while performing housekeeping duties.
• Knowledge of patient and workforce safety related to job duties.

Responsibilities

• Assembles cleaning supplies and equipment; loads utility cart and transports to work areas.
• Cleans assigned areas with housekeeping duties (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, etc.).
• Prepares cleaning solutions according to label instructions.
• Performs discharge room cleaning and remakes beds with fresh linen.
• Notifies team leader of needed maintenance repairs.
• Cleans and stores equipment after use.
• Logs on and off Interserv per GBMC policy.
